Maintenance of Oral Irrigator B:

This is the maintenance routine that you should perform on your Oral-B irrigator:

Deposit

After each use you must dry it with a dry cloth , in addition to preventing water from remaining inside. Otherwise, layers of mold may form, or bacteria and germs may accumulate.

At least once a week , be sure to clean the tank with soap and water . If you have used mouthwash , you will have to clean it thoroughly to remove any remains.

Irrigator and handle

Once a week it is advisable to wipe it with a damp cloth to remove any remaining dust, drying it with a dry cloth.

If the tank is removable , take the opportunity to clean the cavity following the same procedure.

You should use the tips that we are going to give you below at least once a month to clean the interior parts of the irrigator:

Tank cleaning

Fill the water tank with water (to the maximum) and 4 tablespoons of vinegar . If the irrigator is cordless, use only two tablespoons.

Empty half of the tank by shooting the jet towards the sink. Let the mixture act for 20 minutes and repeat the process.

To remove traces of vinegar, refill the water tank and empty it.

This method can also be done with baking soda .

Heads and handle

To clean the inside of these parts, immerse them in a container with white vinegar and water (4 tablespoons of vinegar and water) for 15 minutes .

Then wash them with soap and water, and dry them well before using them again.
